This seems very worthwhile, and dovetails into work by the Gaskovskis' School of the Unconformed. Though I do hope that by "practitioner" you mean people actually in the trades (or doing working-class work). Your list of topics for writing an analysis read as pretty academic.... overly so, perhaps.

Yes, hopefully we can bridge the gap between those worlds and I’m sure sometimes will lean one way over the other but the goal is to bear light on real, working class Americans. I myself (Brandon) run a small truck repair company with my family. I think our profiles in labor will highlight real ordinary people across a wide range of careers, many of whom are never thought about. And our data analysis will try to connect to and make sense of what we see on the ground. Glad to have you here!

as the daughter of a hardworking tradesman, who has seen her father struggle daily with his trade in this current age. i’m heartened to hear that people are examining the state of the working class and initiating a conversation about how we can thrive and improve in this modern world. this seems like a very timely and thought-provoking endeavor by the savage collective. i eagerly await any future essays and contributions.
